Crab Alfredo Pasta

Easy Crab Alfredo Pasta Will Please The Family And The Cook!!

You Will Need:

  • 8 oz. linguine or thin spaghetti
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 4 Tablespoons flour
  • 2 Cups half and half
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • salt & pepper
  • 6 oz. lump crab or shrimp

Now It is Time to:

Cook Pasta to desired tenderness

Melt butter in pan stir in flour, cook briefly until looks sandy

Do not let it develop any color

Whisk in the half and half to form a thick sauce

Stir in cheese to taste (more is better, then add more!!)

Simmer a few minutes to blend flavors. Stir in crab or shrimp or whatever you choose

Tips To Enhance Your Crab Alfredo Pasta

For a Spicy Kick you can add a dash of Cayenne Pepper. Some even put some Red Pepper Flakes in this dish. I love to serve this with Toasted Garlic Bread as well. I often add chopped fresh garlic. Love that flavor! However; the absolute best is when you manage to serve it with an amazing California Chardonnay. I would recommend the Freedom Chardonnay. This Chardonnay is the perfect wine to pair with this Crab Alfredo.
