Put The Family To Work

In order to speed this dish along, you can have the family help prepare the ingredients. This will not take long at all. Simply have someone open the coconut milk, thaw the shrimp, measure the water and stir! Lastly, don’t forget to assign someone else to do the dishes after dinner!! Prop your feet up!

This Coconut Shrimp Curry Will Amaze Your Family!

I love to gather the few simple ingredients used in this dish. Typically, I only buy the shrimp when it is on sale at the grocery store. Watch those ads!!

  • 12 oz. of Raw Pealed Deveined Shrimp
  • 1 packet of Sukhi’s Coconut Curry sauce
  • 1/4 Cup of water
  • 1/4 Cup of canned Coconut Milk

I typically double this recipe-allowing all three of us to enjoy a second helping! This is always one of our favorites!

I always cook this in a 12″ skillet. There is plenty of room for all of the ingredients.

  • Heat pan to Medium, Add Shrimp, Water, Coconut Milk and Sukhi’s Coconut Curry Sauce
  • Simmer on Medium-High heat until shrimp is cooked
  • Reduce sauce to desired consistency
  • Serve with Basmati or Jasmine rice

My family loves this dish and I love how quick and easy it is. Keep the ingredients in your pantry and buy the shelled deveined shrimp when it is on sale. Clearly, I keep shrimp in my freezer. You should too!

Bonus: I Pair My Coconut Shrimp Curry With The Best Pinot Noir!!

Without a doubt, you should try pairing this delicious dish with one of my newest favorite wines. This Fine Wine will even out the sweetness of the Coconut and the spice of the Curry: The Nile Eddy Pinot Noir is scrumptious.

Besides pairing well with this dish, this Nile Eddy Pinot Noir will also go well with all meats and fish. Also, it accompanies any pulled pork, seared tuna or salmon, roasted chicken, mushroom risotto and any fruit. I have found it goes well with Blue cheese, Bree cheese, Gorgonzola and even Gouda cheese.
