This is the new Family Sport. Bass Fishing can be so much fun and something that can be enjoyed by the entire family! I have always loved to fish with my family. We mostly fished for crappie in both North Texas and SE Oklahoma. Never came home with an empty cooler!!
Now I Know That Bass Fishing can be so much fun!! I recently bought a great Monster Bass Charter Fishing package for my husband’s birthday. If you have never been bass fishing in Central Florida you are missing out!! You have to find that secret place to start. Hidden off the beaten path are the best places. There are many lakes near us. Captain Chris was great!! He not only took us to the best places where all of the bass were biting; in addition he gave us a true education on the local lakes and the chains that connected them all together.
When Bass Fishing You Never Know What You May See!!
In this case, we met our Captain at 8:00 AM. In fact, we were so eager that we arrived at our meeting spot at 7:30. We had time to explore the area and we found tiny homes. They were so cute! Not only were they all in a circle, but also each was painted with Florida Beachy colors! Each had it’s own identity with a different color, front porch and a private back yard. Very quaint and cozy!
Once we got on the water is when we really enjoyed ourselves. Our Captain took us out on the huge lake for about 30 minutes before we anchored and got to wet a hook. Nile and I had a friendly competition. I caught the first bass but he caught the biggest. We had a blast!! As we began fishing we realized that the bass are pretty smart. Since it was really hot on that July day the fish seemed to stay in the shade of the trees and even under some of the boats that were docked under the cover. We caught the most near the docks. We even saw a baby gator that we got to know. He was a bit shy but kept coming back for our bait that we threw into the water.
Our Newest Hobby of Bass Fishing Will Be A Regular Thing
While I have fished for many years with my Mom & Dad and enjoyed each and every weekend trip, I am loving having my New Best Friend and Husband to do this together. Even though he has dark skin and loves to be outside, I on the other hand have extremely ivory skin and will sunburn in about 10 minutes. With this in mind, we have to compromise. I have to wear a hat, sunglasses and a long sleeve shirt but just as I look his way I see that he has taken his shirt off and is basking while fishing…
Celebrating On And Off The Water
In conclusion, we did some serious celebrating both on and off the water. Nile needed to boast about him getting the largest bass. I let him enjoy the moment. After all, he did catch the largest bass. Finally, as we enjoyed one of our favorite wines: the Nile Eddy Pinot Noir with dinner, we reflected on the day and how much fun it was, despite the heat. Remember, it is hot in Florida in July!! You can get more information about this Nile Eddy Pinot Noir by GOING HERE TO GET THE DETAILS.
