I have a Passion To Live With Happiness for the rest of my life! Since I am in my mid 60’s I have pledged to myself to “enjoy the hell out of the rest of my life”. Every day I wake up and tell myself that I need to do something different today to enjoy my life.
Everyone Should Have A Passion To Live With Happiness.
Everyday I try to have passion to live with happiness. My happiness begins with every day as my Husband makes me smile and understand just exactly how much he loves me. When I realized that I had met someone who loves me for who I am, I had to make a change.
Since I am now married to the Love of My Life, every single day is special. We have so much fun together and we understand and respect each other. Each day has laughter, kindness, respect and passion. Some days we just sit and talk. We plan out our lives together. Listening intently, we share our ideas to the each other. What they think is very important.
Years With No Passion Lead To Depression
If you do not know true love, you should be sure before getting married. I thought I knew love. After spending three years together and no sign of getting married I decided it was up to me.
One day after work, he came over and we had dinner. After dinner we sat down to talk. I had reached the end of my rope. My words were, “either you love me or you don’t. Either we are getting married or we are not”. I waited for his response and it took much longer than I thought it should.
He agreed to get married. We discussed dates. As I suggested three different dates, he chose the last one. I agreed.
After 29.5 years of marriage and two children, I ended it. There is a lot to know but this is all I will write. I told myself that I could be happier alone than to continue to be unhappy.
Moving On and living every day to the fullest!
Making the decision to move on was the one thing that has helped me to live with happiness. This is the one thing that I will never regret doing.
I will never forget the last time I went to my Stylist to get my hair fixed. She told me that she noticed I had not been in for some time. After telling her of my decisions, I looked her in the eye and said, “I’m about to enjoy the hell out of the rest of my life”. We both laughed and agreed that I deserved to be abundantly happy.
Good Friends to the Rescue
I had many friends nearby but I did not want to be a burden to anyone with small children and family living in their home. My one friend came to mind. I simply called her and we talked about my situation. She lived by herself and welcomed me to live with her. We agreed on six months minimum.
She had the best dog and he was my Therapy Dog. We went for walks every day in the pasture out back. Often I had my headphones in listening to music while walking. Rudy was my buddy and he kept me company every day. THANK YOU RUDY! I was fortunate as I worked from home. My friend had to go to work Monday thru Thursday. I was on my way to healing from the sadness of disrupting the only home that my younger son had known.
