As a rule, the entire world revolves around marketing. Everything has to be marketed. Some examples are: McDonalds, Coca Cola (an average of 4B per year), Starbucks, and many others. Nothing sells itself! As a Girl Scout, from Brownies until I was 17, I did a great job of Marketing the Girl Scout Cookies. For six years straight I sold the most cookies in our Troop 163 in Northeast Texas. Every single year I earned a week to Summer Camp. Oddly enough, that is where I got my first concussion….it’s a long story!!
One of my sons owned his own business for a bit and he made and marketed pens. I bought him a lathe and took over our garage for years. In fact, he learned to make both Acrylic and Wooden pens. They were beautiful. He was great and loved doing it. Both he and I marketed these pens. They were a great Holiday gift!! Reorders came in every year.
If he had only taken the time to read Marketing Is Freedom, he may have very well changed his path in life. I feel he could possible be an Online Marketer just as I am.

It should be noted that as an Online Marketer, I have also learned some skills about marketing that I never knew. Additionally, some of my organizational skills have improved tenfold. My day begins and ends with my Google Calendar. When I start my day I always check my calendar. Before I lay my head on my pillow, I check it again. I have learned that if I am organized I literally get more accomplished!!
